WHO WE ARE
About us
A new way of experiencing DJ culture.
Spinral is a DJ and creative collective from Bogor, built around music, creativity, community, and a new way of experiencing DJ culture.
We believe DJ culture belongs everywhere, not just in clubs. Music can be part of everyday life, from coffee shops and sports spaces to creative events, outdoor activities and daytime sessions. Enjoying DJ music can go hand in hand with a healthy, active and positive lifestyle.
We create spaces where people connect, discover new sounds, express themselves and experience music in different environments, bringing together DJs, creatives, communities and collaborators.
01 Vision
To become a cultural force that introduces new sounds and energizes audiences through genre-spanning musical experiences.
We picture a Bogor, and an Indonesia, where DJ culture is part of everyday life: heard in coffee shops, on running tracks, at campus events and on outdoor afternoons, not only behind club doors.
We want Spinral to be a home where new listeners discover sounds they never knew they loved, and where the next generation of DJs finds the space, guidance and stage to grow.
02 Mission
Introduce diverse global music to local audiences, build inclusive music experiences that introduce people to new sounds, collaborate with artists and creative brands, and empower young DJs through workshops and curated performances.
We curate sets that read the room, moving between underground and global sounds so every crowd hears something familiar and something new.
We run workshops and open labs that introduce people to the craft, from the first beatmatch to building a set and the culture behind it.
We co-create events with venues, communities and brands, bringing DJs, an MC and our own media team as one crew, and we document every moment so the scene keeps growing.

Our story
“I started Spinral because I wanted to build the kind of DJ culture that I wanted to be part of.”
DJ culture was often placed in the same box: clubs, nightlife, parties. I wanted to see what would happen if we took it outside of that: a DJ playing in a coffee shop in the afternoon, music as part of a sports event, a creative space, or just a normal day where people come together.
Spinral was never just about putting a group of DJs together. It's a place to experiment, collaborate and change the way people see DJs. We're not just people who play songs. There's culture, knowledge, creativity and emotion behind what we do.
We're still figuring things out, still growing, making mistakes and trying new ideas. Honestly, that's part of what makes Spinral special.
